The Art Corps program at Hearst Elementary focuses on a comprehensive and developmental curriculum that combines teaching art fundamentals with process-orientated and hands-on experience to our students.
*No art experience necessary for parent volunteers!*
*Opportunities to Teach or Assist a lesson*
Funded exclusively by the Hearst PTA, Art Corps provides our students with a unique program designed to not only encourage their creativity, but introduce them to the basic elements and objectives that art encompasses.
The success of this program depends primarily on our parent volunteers and thankfully the Hearst staff & faculty fully support it too! We are fortunate to have the guidance of a fantastic leadership team to train our volunteers in monthly workshops so they can teach art in their child's classroom.
For more information on how you can be involved in this terrific program, please contact your student's teacher or the Hearst Art Corps Coordinator: Beth Enchelmayer [email protected]
